Dr. Sonal Choudhary, a double-board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist at UPMC, specializes in atopic dermatitis and integrative dermatology. She oversees module production, records content, leads discussions, and supports participants, bringing extensive experience in clinical education, research, and course development for healthcare professionals.

Anusha Kambala, MD is a PGY-2 resident in the Department of Dermatology at UPMC. She earned her BS from the University of Maryland, College Park, and her MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Prior to residency, she completed a one-year Itch Fellowship with Dr. Shawn Kwatra at Johns Hopkins, where she gained experience in translational, basic science, and clinical trials research. Her interests include atopic dermatitis, skin of color, and integrative medicine.

Gerardo Guilarte is an M.D. candidate in the Class of 2027 at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and serves as the 2025-2026 Research Fellow under Sonal Choudhary, MD, at UPMC Dermatology. His work spans investigator-initiated dermatology research, educational project development, and scholarly writing, with particular interests in integrative dermatology, skin of color, LGBTQ+ health, and clinician and community education. He has contributed to multiple accepted and submitted publications, national presentations, and educational resources, and has served as lead proposal author and project coordinator for funded educational initiatives.
